Kate and Patrick’s wedding day was nothing less than amazing! Working with the sweet Passmore family for the second time was just as sweet as the first! Kate’s sister Lizy got married in 2017 at the same location, and it meant so much to us to have the opportunity to work with the Passmore’s again at their beautiful family farm. Kate and Patrick have some of the most precious moments throughout their day, from one of the sweetest first looks we have ever seen to the most intentional ceremony as they became the Dickson’s. Guests celebrated them under a beautiful white tent. Kate’s cake was one of our favorites from this spring- it was decorated with lemons, blueberries and blackberries. They had the sweetest sparkler exit at the end of the night. We loved working with this precious family again and we hope you enjoy looking at some of our favorite pictures from their day!
Tell us about your story as a couple?
Wow, there is so much to be said for our story! We started out as friends in class and over time it grew into something new and beautiful! I have never stopped being enamored with his (Patrick’s) resilient faithfulness and determination through every trial and distance that came our way. His pursuit of holiness and pursuit of me, fickle as I am, are like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I’m honored to now have the responsibility of praying for Patrick for the rest of my life. I’m blessed to now be called his wife! We couldn’t be more grateful to each and every one of our friends and family that has poured into our lives and taught us the joy of being broken and unlovable people with an unbreakable and loving God.
What was your vision for the wedding?
Having all the important people in my life come together to celebrate and lead Patrick and I into a new season of life! I had always wanted to get married on the farm and it came together beautifully! The vision was for a beautiful green spring wedding!!
What was your favorite detail of the wedding?
My favorite detail was the driftwood arbor Patrick and I got married under! We poured a lot of hard work into it and it embodied us so much! Also the little fact that we had no rain!
What was your favorite moment of the day?
Sitting and eating together and having a moment to breath after the ceremony! I also loved my bridesmaids reveal! Every time I look at the picture that Elizabeth got, I laugh and am filled with joy that I have such sweet friends.
